It’s hard to believe winter’s already here, that means colder, white months ahead. Sometimes simply throwing on a scarf, sweater and hat just doesn’t cut it. I’ve put together four outfits plus the best boots for the winter season to create a warmer winter look. I hope you can find some inspiration from these outfits to achieve a look that’s cute and comfy at the same time.
This by far is one of my absolute favorite outfits I’ve worn, it’s edgy and cute at the same time. I love how this sweater is the perfect amount of grey and black. I purchased it at H&M for $10 on sale, if that’s not a deal I don’t know what is. To achieve the outfit I wanted, I then paired it with my distressed denim jeans from target. These jeans were also purchased on sale for $16, I don’t wear them as much as I like but when I do I love them even more. My black booties I’ve had for at least four years now, they were purchased from Forever21 but they no longer sale them. I would love to find some booties similar to these so if you know of some please let me know. These suede black booties are the warmest when their paired with socks, I like to pair them with my ankle ruffled socks.
If I had to be honest, most days I’d rather live in this outfit. It’s comfortable and versatile at the same time. If I’m running errands for the day I’ll throw on something like this. In the afternoons when it’s time to hit up the gym I change my shoes for some sneakers and I’m all set to go. On day’s where I need to meditate this outfit works for that as well. The Gray shirt is from ASOS and the fabric is so soft I could live in it. My grey stirrup leg pants which go over the heel of your feet to keep them in place are from Target. My shoes are of course Uggs, which need no explanation at all. They are completely warm, comfortable and the perfect Winter boots. I like to keep my Fitbit on for days where I’m extremely active so I can track my progress, lately it’s come in handy a lot.
Every time I wear this outfit without hesitation people always say you look straight out of the 70’s. I know, that’s the vibe I was trying to achieve when I decided to purchase these wide legged long jeans from Target. In fact they reminded me more of my childhood in the 90’s since that’s when bell bottoms were first introduced to me. But I love this outfit because the complete opposite of how I usually dress. As soon as I saw these brown platform booties from Forever21, I knew I needed them, they make me so much taller as if 5’8 isn’t already tall enough. I like to offset the darkness of the shoes and jeans with a white half turtleneck shirt from Asos, accessorized with my gold necklace.
I was going for a biker meets edgy vibe with this outfit. My black skinny jeans are from Gap, they are so comfortable and are the perfect length. I thought the best way to achieve this look would be to wear my biker booties from Forever21. The material on these shoes are so thick and allows for them to be worn in any weather condition without messing up. To offset the black I finished this look with my white lined shirt from Asos paired with my watch from American Eagle. I usually wear this outfit when I’m having an I don’t care day, it instantly makes me feel badder.
