Who can relate to being hungry as soon as you leave your house? It’s like all your senses are on high alert and you’re being dragged to the nearest fast food place. That was me, as soon as I left the comfort of my home I craved Chipotle. But it was worse when I just wanted a snack, because a snack to me consisted of chips and soda. Looking back on it I realize how unhealthy that was. A part of my new years resolution was to eat healthier, that also means snacking healthier.

In 2015 I became obsessed with subscription boxes and would frequently talk about them on my YouTube channel. Most of them consisted of food boxes, healthy ones. I instantly feel in love with Nature Box the first time I received it. I didn’t feel guilty when I had a craving I needed to satisfy because these snacks did the trick. You now pay a $5 a month membership fee and from there you go on the website and select the snacks you want delivered to your front door. My favorite snacks are the mini coco Belgium waffles, dried pineapple and sweet and spicy popcorn. There are a few several ones I love, but you’re guaranteed to find something that will satisfy your cravings. The serving sizes on these snacks are much greater than the serving size on unhealthy snacks. Have you ever noticed that you can eat more of what’s good than opposed to the bad stuff? The best part about find a snack that you love but is also healthy is you can take it with you on the go. I usually keep a package in my purse just in case I become hungry but want to wait to eat until I’m home. Doing this has saved me so many times from making an unhealthy decision and have kept me on track. Since vowing to myself to eat healthier, I’ve noticed that I’m not tempted to grab soda, chips or candy anymore. In fact I now reach for water and whatever Naturebox package I have with me.
