The end of Summer is the perfect time to plan a last minute vacation. This whole year my husband and I talked about planning a trip but it never happened until now. On September 20th we will celebrate our one year anniversary. So in honor of that, we’ve decided to head to the Bahamas in a couple of weeks. In preparation for our upcoming trip here are 7 essential travel items that every woman should have in her carry.

1.
Biossance The Revitalizer:
I am working on drinking a lot of water daily because I know it’s healthy for my skin and body. But on days where I don’t have time to drink an adequate amount of water I squeeze some revitalizer on my face to keep my skin looking healthy and moisturized.
2.
Ibuprofen: Since I get a lot of headaches I know first hand that nothing is worse than getting one and not having anything to block the pain. I always keep Ibuprofen in my bag to prevent being stuck on a plane or in a car without it. Out of all of the essential travel items this one is the most important for me. Nothing is worse than being in pain and not being able to ease your discomfort.
3.
EOS: My lips always seem to get chapped no matter what. So I always keep some kind of lip balm in my purse. My favorite lip balm is EOS because not only does it moisturize my lips, it smells amazing.
4. Journal for Inspiration: As someone whose mind is constantly flowing with ideas I like to keep a journal with me to write things down. I’ve noticed that in my free time or while traveling I get inspiration for blog post and other creative things.
5.
EOS Travel Lotion: My lips always seem to get chapped no matter what. So I always keep some kind of lip balm in my purse. My favorite lip balm is EOS because not only does it moisturize my lips, it smells amazing.
6.
Marc Jacobs Perfume: Sometimes being in the car or on a plane for long periods of time can cause you to not smell as fresh. I like to freshen up with some baby wipes and then roll on some of my Marc Jacobs perfume until I can get to a shower.
7.
Tarte Eye Concealer: While having the time of your life on vacation it will start to show. So I recommend trying this essential travel item as a way to hide your dark circles for the lack of sleep the night before. Tarte Amazonian Clay is my favorite. It’s waterproof and it last me for a while. It blends in perfectly with my skin and brightens my eyes to make me look wide awake.
They’re just perfect! I like your blog very much, would you like to follow each other?:)

Hi Jules,
I’m glad you like my blog but I don’t do follow for follow.
Great list! I always keep a journal with me when traveling and it is perfect to unwind at the end of the day. Also it helps to blog about it later;)
Yes, Nena. I have so many journals in my office it’s crazy. One for when I travel and want to write something exciting down that happened that day. One for notes for my blog and youtube channel and one for short two sentence thoughts about my day before bedtime. 🙂
